Spay & Neuter Community Outreach

Mexico has upwards of 20 million street dogs. Overpopulation is a massive problem here. Dogs & puppies suffer horribly from neglect, abuse, & disease.

Although we occasionally rescue dogs in desperate need, we are NOT a rescue. We focus on population control through spay & neuter.

How Rocco’s Relief Foundation Serves Our Community

Dog Spay/Neuter
We offer free spay & neuter for dogs through sterilization campaigns. When we don’t have a campaign scheduled, community members access free sterilization via local veterinary offices.

Cat Spay/Neuter
We offer free spay & neuter for cats through a local veterinary office about 20 minutes from our town. There is also a local veterinary clinic in our town where owners only need to pay approximately $5 USD and Rocco’s covers the rest.

We have sterilized over 1300 dogs and cats since 2021! Over 400 of them as of August 2025!
